Neos Kosmos is Australia's leading Greek
newspaper. It is the flagship publication of its parent company, Ethnic
Publications Pty. Ltd.
It is the largest and most influential Greek publication
outside Greece. Established in 1957 by its pioneering co-founder Dimitri
Gogos, it has been publishing and growing continuously since then. Sotiris
Hatzimanolis is the Chief Editor of all publications and has been with
Neos Kosmos for over 25 years. The Deputy Editor is Kostas Nikolopoulos
and the Editor of Neos Kosmos English Edition is Fotis Kapetopoulos.
Neos Kosmos is
based in Melbourne and distributed nationally across Australia, catering
for the needs of Australia's 500,000+ people of Greek origin or background.
Neos Kosmos is
recognised for its independent reporting and quality journalism and has
no political affiliations or commercial interests, other than publishing,
priding itself on its objectivity whilst offering a medium of expression
for all viewpoints in the community.
It is run as a private business and derives all its income from newspaper
sales and advertising.
